Tuition : Contemporary Guitar Coaching

roscojack writes"3 Keys to unlocking your potential

In my time playing, teaching and coaching I have found a few common errors in thinking that hold most people back from reaching their true potential as Guitar Players. The broad issue is dealing with change but let me break it down into 3 areas.

 1. Keep an open mind - some people just can't let go of preconceived ideas. To grow you need an open and clear mind.

 2. Take the time - it takes as long as it takes. If you take the time to do things well you will get the result you want, it's that simple.

 3. Focus - know what it is you are wanting to acheive, have clear picture. On a daily basis understand what it is you need to practice to get there. Noodling and practice are not the same thing, both are valid, just different.

If you want any further info on Guitar Coaching call me, Ross on 0418 390 005 or check out my website www.rosshelmot.com.au"

Bands & Artists : The Dying Embers

Big_Cammo writes"

The Dying Embers are the "lifes work" of Canadian born singer/songwriter James Pender.
From the icy hills of Canada to the salty shores of the Bellarine Peninsula in Australia, The “Embers”, now based in Ocean Grove,Victoria, have indeed travelled from afar, and as Pender re-ignites his Embers machine deep beneath the Southern Cross, the smoke won't settle until the lights go down.
Described as Rock n Roll with a pinch of disaster, The Dying Embers not only hold a torch for clever lyrics, catchy rhythms and an incredibly upbeat salute to life, they possess an uncanny energy and an unwavering devotion to create and perform their songs as if every note were a dying breath of an untold story. They are a true testament to “letting the songs speak for themselves.”
In an era of a billion bands,  vagabonds, and rusted out dreams The Embers are destined to burn hotter and shine brighter than any other, and wether it’s beneath the Northern Lights of Canada, beneath the Southern Cross of Australia or below the crooked moon of a smoke filled night, James Pender and his fabulous Dying Embers are  undoubtedly a band on fire indeed.!!!!!Following their successful debut Cd "Lazy Mutinado" released in Canada and available on iTunes, The Embers are soon to be releasing their anticipated follow up CD slated for late 2010.
Backed by an exciting new Australian line up and a match to the can, James Pender, Cam Robertson, Patrick Shawcross and Robert William Hensel III are leaving no stone unturned and no stage standing on their crusade to spread the word and gather more Embers to fan the mighty flames.Check us out:   www.thedyingembers.com                       www.myspace.com/thedyingembers                       www.reverbnation.com/thedyingembers
