Bands & Artists : Clagg

TeamClagg writes"Slow-heavy-sludgy-doomy-rockin-gluecore It was sometime in late 2002 that a rehearsal room was broken into in a quaint suburban high school. There the unsuspecting staff and students bore witness to the lethal noise that became Clagg. Subsequently the eardrums of those present suffered a barrage of chunky heavy riffs and plenty of screeching feedback - such brutal and wanton treatment of instruments and amplifiers was unheard of before. Before the police could arrive the members of Clagg vanished without capture, but left knowing that they had acheived their mission. They had sown the seeds of a new breed of musical terror that would one day spread to the ears of unsuspecting music fans all across the land. Clagg are an original 5 piece doom rock / sludge metal band from Melbourne, and draw influence from bands such as Black Sabbath, Iron Monkey, Christbait, Blood Duster, Melvins, Kyuss & Kiss. Since their formation Clagg have managed to establish and refine their own unique soundscape to pulverize the ears of any listener, be they willing to listen or not. From the chaotic hate vocals to droning guitars, crushing drum beats to bowel rupturing bass, Clagg have managed to mold their influences and form a tight unit of extreme terror sludge and stoner rock groove that will appeal to all lovers of heavy noise. Bands & Artists : Dark Earth

dark-earth writes"
Black, Death, Progressive inspired Metal.

Formed in 1997 by brothers James and Brian Sinclair, Dark Earth began life as a studio project. Desiring the freedom to create their music without compromise, the pair developed and refined their dark, thrashy style of metal as a 2-piece for over 5 years. Liam Toy joined the band as second guitarist in December of 2002. Due to frustrating results in relation to finding a vocalist, it was decided that Liam would perform lead vocals, later recruiting Allan Mcdonald (bass) and Trevor O'Kell (rhythm guitar) as session musicians - Dark Earth were finally ready to perform their music live.

Bands & Artists : Naughtie Girls Do Cabaret

Jax writes"

Melbourne based unique novelty female duo. We perform very funky yet sometimes daggy songs from 70s to present. We wear bright, cute costumes - often with sequins, and we have dance moves simple enough to be learnt by the most uncoordinated. We love audiences to join in with us, and select songs which have great appeal to most people, and catchy lyrics, which people will know (and if they don't, they should feel free to make up their own).

We are fun and energetic!

Bands & Artists : tempted

kg writes"

tempted

Melody driven pop with a taste of jazz and funk.

Originally an acoustic duo performing original music all over Melbourne, the decision to form a band was the right one. All material is now co-written, drawn upon varying influences, resulting in our own sound.
