emotive vocal lines, strong dynamics and a hint of drama; Sixteen
Millimetre have never been afraid to present the listener with a
challenging experience. Since their inception in 2002, the moody
five-piece have gigged tirelessly in their native Melbourne, as well as up
and down the eastern seaboard, honing their live show into a jaw dropping
affair. A chance encounter led them to producer Robbie Rowlands (Morning
After Girls, Dallas Crane, 1200 Techniques) and in early 2005 Sixteen
Millimetre released the single Cannonball. Sydneys Brag Magazine named it
Single of The Week, while Inpress in Melbourne hailed a breathtaking piece
of dramatic pop. The band will be launching their new EP "Simple" on Thur 19th Oct at the East Brunswick Club.
