News : VOCAL & PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS- JULY 2007
kittykatzmuzic writes"KATZMUSIC is running vocal and performance workshops in July. The workshops are aimed at vocalists and musicians who would like to learn about singing, the body, breath and performance. The classes cover the foundations of singing and the basics for strong supported, well rounded vocalization. The classes are open to anyone, so it doesn't matter if you like singing punk or classical. The workshops cover the following concepts:
- Vocal warmups
- The breath support system
- Voice maintainance
- The mechanics and anatomy of the voice
- Breathing exercises
- Vocal exercises
- Stretching, posture and alignment
The workshops will be held on Thursday nights for 4 weeks in July, classes run for 2 and a half hours (includes free tea and coffee). Casual workshops cost $30.00, however a 50% discount applies if you enroll for 4 weeks, payable on the first night. So thats 4 workshops for $60.00.
