Melbourne owned band The Armchair Critics have had a busy 2004, with succesfully securing slots all over the state & also receiving
airplay courtesy of RRR. 2005 will see the release of The Armchair
Critics' debut EP as well as more slots all over Melbourne
including a slot at The Apollo Bay Festival.

Wallow - Three piece semi acoustic bluegrass roots rock with
flavours of tribal and hip hop. Warm performance encompassed by
candlelit stage creating a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Sai Potter - Singer/songwriter, Solo performer "Poetic Rock"
Performed throughout Melbourne, Sydney, USA and Canada. Check out Sai's extraordinary guitar work and atmospheric vocals and hear
tracks from his CD "Spell on Me" Sai was a finalist at Australian
Music Week 26 Feb, after winning his heat earlier in the week 23

Forever drawing lines in the sand and puzzling their contemporaries with a melting pot of genre hopping, Lan Party have from day one set out to make you dance till you cry and laugh till you sweat. In a live setting the band bombards the audience with a cavalcade of diverse song writing. One can't help but realise the intensity of the technicality involved, not to mention the vocal eccentricities that defy any particular style, yet deliver an intriguing surreal layer to the music. Witnessing a Lan Party show entices not only the ear but assaults visually as a low scale theatre plays out through the performance, making for a mesmerising if not bewildering pantomime.
The groups' members have been working hard behind the scenes honing their craft for close to a decade in various musical groups around Melbourne. Head Lan Party axeman Tim McMillan (previous young guitarist of the year), has recently played for the Secretary of Tibetan Refugee's Association in Kulu Valley India, and has amazed locals in South American caves with his guitar work high on hallucinogenic cane juice.
Mr. Show Business himself, Andrew Howe, while not impersonating elephants and watching Steven Seagal films, has recently supported and subsequently urinated in Pete Murray's shower at an award ceremony held at The Palace. The master of the skins, Dr. John was not only Lead Percussionist in the 2000 Olympics Opening Ceremony, but also enjoys a quiet cup of tea. Second in charge on the axe, the man with no name, Trent Menassa had almost completely ostracised himself from the music community by appearing in several controversial performances in a Melbourne hip hop act that imploded back into the obscurity from whence it came, never to appear live again.
With an E.P/DVD in the works, a national tour on the cards and frequent gigging around Melbourne Lan Party are looking to be one of the most exciting and talented new acts Australia has seen in some time.

Lan Party will be appearing at The Espy Fri 18th and appearing with Chris Wilson at the International Guitar Festival Sun 20th
