Hi all I am thinking of buying my 16 year old son his 1 st decent guitar.
We looked at the local Billy Hyde shop here & he like the Maton MS 500 guitar.
I was just wondering what do you people in Melband think of this guitar.
He likes to pay Greeenday / Nivina / Foo fighters , Grinspoon etc type of music mainly.
Also your thoughts on the Maton MS 503 guitar.
Does any 1 know where there might be such guitars second hand?
Thanks for you input |

I think Matons are Good Rock Guitars
I wouldn't try and play Metal on it and if I want to play Blues a Fender Stratocaster is a lot better
but it's Very good For
Rock. Grudge & punk
and from what you say the style of music your son plays sounds like it would fit perfectly.
and Foot69's one looks nice _________________

They aren't the greatest, but I've never played one of the mastersounds that I didn't like. They all feel good and play well _________________
