Dreamboogie are the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society (MBAS) Blues Performer of the YEar (BPOY). Thus, they are going to Memphis in January to represent Melbourne in the International Blues Challenge (IBC) against the best up and coming Blues acts from around the world, including the USA.

The MBAS will be holding a fundraiser at the Greyhound Hotel, St Kilda on Sunday 22nd January. Artists appearing include Ash Grunwald, Chris Wilson, Sweet Felicia, Dreamboogie (of course) and many others. Start time - 5.00PM. Admission - $20

Kill 'Em All (Metallica tribute show)

Kill 'Em All are a Melbourne based Metallica tribute show.

In the 80's and early 90's Metallica became revered as the top heavy metal band in the world. Metallica's early releases included fast tempos, instrumentals, and aggressive musicianship. The band earned a growing fan-base in the underground music community and critical acclaim, with its third album Master of Puppets (1986) described as one of the most influential and "heavy" thrash metal albums. Metallica achieved substantial commercial success in 1991 with their eponymous fifth album (also known as The Black Album), which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

Kill 'Em All's hard hitting Metallica tribute show is dedicated to the Metallica era of the 80's & early 90's. Kill' Em All's repertoire of classic Metallica songs are compiled from the following albums:

Amber Mic Productions aim is to be the silent voice for Emerging Independent artists in Victoria & The Gold Coast. Our group stages local music showcases in undeveloped regional circuits/outer suburbs within music industry circles with a view to expand to larger events/ festivals in the future. Selecting artists to join the roster along the way and providing them with management/booking agent representation opportunities.

This provides us with the opportunity to find undiscovered talent & enrich the Arts & Entertainment culture of the community in question. Public awareness of local Independent artists is also raised to a new level.

Behind the scenes, the main endeavour is to train current music business students, make them industry ready, with an intent to place each of these students into paid employment within their chosen career path in the music industry through my already established network contacts/job contacts.
