News : SUI ZHEN UNVEILS STUNNING DEBUT ALBUM ‘TWO SEAS’

efpublicity writes"5/5 “Gorgeous new stuff… Quite non-linear, I love the way this song moves. A gorgeous journey!” – Little Frog Single Review GEMMA PIKE, TRIPLE J UNEARTHED RADIO 2011 “Striking pop music”THE AU REVIEW, 2012
Sydney-raised, Melbourne-based artist Sui Zhen (pronounced Sue-ee Chen) is the colourful personality of singer/songwriter and composer Becky Freeman, who is set to release her beautiful debut album ‘Two Seas’ on 4th May 2012. To celebrate the release, Sui Zhen will hit the road in May and June with an Album Tour along the east coast, stopping in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Newcastle, Wollongong and Canberra. 'Two Seas' came together throughout Sui Zhen’s travels over the past few years, and the album bears the unique marks of all the spaces inhabited along the way. A song written in Redfern was recorded in an old church in Wildes Meadow, arranged in Berlin and mixed in Gerroa. Whilst visiting family in Bahrain – which translates literally to ‘two seas’ – Sui Zhen decided the album was ready for release.   Working with acclaimed producer, Tony Dupe (Holly Throsby, Jack Ladder), you’ll hear soaring yet delicate vocals from Sui Zhen as she combines indie-folk with touches of country, experimental and pop whimsy.  First single “Little Frog” has already gained support of major indie radio stations and found its way around the blogosphere. It has also been featured in Frankie Magazine’s ‘Tunesday’. Sui Zhen has been performing both solo and with her full live band since 2003, supporting the likes of Coco Rosie (USA), Kimya Dawson (USA), The Brunettes (NZ, SubPop), and Malcolm Middleton (of Arab Strap, USA). Sui Zhen’s self-titled independent EP of folktronic-pop was launched in late 2007 to glowing reviews and national airplay. Sui Zhen was selected for the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in 2010 and performed at Sonar Music Festival in Barcelona later that year. Alongside releasing ‘Two Seas’, Sui Zhen will also release an EP with fellow RBMA 2010 participant Andras Fox in their duo project, Fox + Sui. Her influences include Karen Dalton, PJ Harvey, Arthur Russell, Daniel Johnston, Joanna Newsom, just to name a few. Don’t miss this innovative and beautiful music gem.

News : Goss Community Choir

GossCommunityChoir writes"POP CHOIR NEEDS MORE VOICES
Ok, so when you hear the word choir, you might be thinking a church group, or a classical choir, or maybe something you may have tried out for in school..

Before you hit the Back button... we invite you to read on as we think we might change your mind... gOSs Community choir is not your average choir.

Kings of Leon, Goyte, Roy Orbison, Lady Gaga, Toto, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Bruno Mars, Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton, Queen, Beatles ... yep these are just some of the artists we've not just covered, but put our own flavour to..  If we've got your attention now please feel free to read on...
  • There is NO AUDITION process
  • You don't need to read music or have any singing experience. You'll be in a group of friendly people who'll be happy to help if you get stuck.
  • If you're looking for a fun and friendly group to socialise with, you'll definitely fit in here.
  • If you're aged anywhere between 16 and 600 years old then you qualify to join.
  • If you fancy a nice tea break in between courtesy of gOSs, we got it covered.
  • Finally ..... all this costs a whopping $5 per session... No, that's not a mis-print! ONLY FIVE DOLLARS a session.
Also, you'll get some great opportunities to perform. This choir is really making a name for itself in Melbourne. We've opened the National Festival of Choirs Grand Finale Concert alongside Jonathon Welch, and sung at several reputable locations including the beautiful Werribee Mansion.

If this all sounds good to you, we invite to take your voice out of the shower, and bring it along to one of our rehearsals.

For more information on gOSs Community Choir, check out our website or contact us at gosscommunitychoir@gmail.com"

Accounting & Business Management : Learning The Techniques And Strategies Of Internet Marketing

MICKoWAR writes"

One of the most recent methods of selling products and promoting service is to hire a freelance writer for writing copy on the internet. It can be a great marketing technique that teaches you how to be effective in sales and uses the skills and ability of these writers to help you create good internet marketing strategy. Despite the cost of an expert writer, the results will almost always be superior to trying to write copy yourself. This is especially true if your experience is limited.

The primary consideration for hiring someone for copywriting is successful sales results. Products and services that are not properly displayed on sales pages cannot be sold online. Even if the item you sell is fantastic, it is necessary to get potential customers to see it.

A qualified copywriter produces a significant difference.

The typical copywriter will probably get a .5 - 1 percent rate of conversion from sales page. Hiring an expert writer can often increase your conversion to over 2 percent. The difference may not seem significant; however, this change would result in an increase of profit of about 400 percent.

Good copywriting helps provide work that is grammatically correct, which is essential for a successful sales writer. Those that can produce good business letters do not automatically create the same type of sales letter.

Copywriters are not all alike

Since all writers are not alike, when you are ready to hire one, use the following guidelines.

Request a portfolio

Most qualified copywriters keep a sample of their work online. Looking at their examples of sales letters helps you to assess their ability and knowledge of writing copy.

Make certain of their price

At times copywriters quote a particular price for their work, but do not mention or state extra fees for revising or changing the copy at a customer's request. Find this information out at the beginning so that you can make good estimates of the finished copy. Royalty charges are sometimes expected based on the success of their sales letter.

Check for references

Qualified copywriters will have a list of happy customers and current clients you can check with.

Inquire about the copywriter's success and past results

The most important assessment of a copywriter is a measure of the success he provides and the increase of sales and lead generation.

Internet marketing copywriters

Another factor in hiring a successful writer is their ability to meet time deadlines consistently.

Your business might want to consider a small business marketingmarketing strategy for you. They give you more time, flexibility, and timely copy than a larger company that has a sizable customer base.

Ask if the copywriting is sent out to other companies

At times, one company will send their assignments out to another firm for an initial draft and then they will review, edit, and complete the work. The best work can be completed all by the same writer.

Pay attention to the questions they ask you in the beginning.

Good companies may ask more questions upfront so they can produce the right results the first time. A writing business may want to know whether the sales letter should be written for old listeners or young, casual or formal audience, and other considerations.

Find out if they do SEO writing

Good copywriters can offer SEO optimized work for your business website. This type of writing gives sales letters a greater chance of being picked up by a search engine.

Conclusion

By taking the time to hire a professional, quality freelance writer you can be more successful in your sales results. Though the expense outlay will be higher at the beginning, the sales leads, conversion, and higher profits make it worth your while.
